2. the act of persisting or persevering; continuing or repeating behavior; "his perseveration continued to the point where it was no longer appropriate"

my entry for :iconscenceable:'s contest.

I'm still (GAH! so slow!) working on the trade with scenceable and I was kind of at a dead end with art...
and I had a piece of cardboard that I had spray painted lying on the floor, so I thought "Lets do something with this cardboard!".
and this is what happened XD
I wanted to enter the contest, but I couldnt think of anything to go with the words that we had to use... and then this just came to me out of no where!
I wanted to work on the idea that Sonnet was reaching out to Lyric, even though shes dead.
the red ribbon is a symbol of fate, and you can see it breaking in the middle, meaning that Sonnet and Lyric are close to no longer being connected.
you may also notice that Sonnet is blurred... truth be told, it started out as an accident XD
then I thought, "wow, if I make his whole outline smudged towards Lyric, it'll look like his soul is reaching out for her" - ' Persistent Determination '.
clever, no?
genious.

so the main point of this essay is, even though Lyric is dead, Sonnet is still trying to find her and wont give up.
e.g. perseverance

Characters - Lyric, Sonnet (C) Scenceable

P.S. sorry for the crappy quality, I had to use my camera to be able to load it to the computer... the cardboard wouldnt fit in my scanner =(

P.P.S. if you were wondering what I used to colour this, I used textas... first time I've used them... and it was fun!

P.P.P.S. Now that I look at it, I wish I had of had Sonnet pulling the ribbon in his mouth with the other end wrapped around Lyrics leg, and still fraying in the middle... Oh well ^_^
